On August 19, we'll reach the final page of Ulysses — and if you're in Dublin, or happen to be visiting, we'd love for you to join us as we celebrate the end of Ulysses in 80 for 2026. Cliona O'Farrelly is gathering U80 readers and friends to mark the occasion, come together, and celebrate another extraordinary 80-day journey through Joyce's Dublin.

Whether you've been reading with us for all 80 days, dropped in along the way, listened to a podcast, followed from a distance — or have never opened Ulysses and are simply curious — come join us.
We'll have Ulysses in 80 participants there, and we'll invite volunteers and people right there in the room to choose a passage and share it with us. You may be surprised by what you hear.
Joyce wrote these words more than 100 years ago, yet so much can feel remarkably familiar today — sometimes literally, sometimes in the humor and humanity, and sometimes simply in the message and its relevance to our lives now.
No Joyce expertise required. Come by the fire, listen, talk, choose a passage if you'd like, and hear from some of the people who have taken this extraordinary 80-day journey with us.
It's a celebration, a thank-you, and an invitation to learn a little more about this extraordinary global project — and about one of literature's most extraordinary, and famously daunting, masterpieces.
On August 19, we'll turn the final page. And in 2027, we'll be back to do it all over again.
